This CrAzY girl is RANTING today!

I shall begin with ranting:

I am in yet another funk. No bloggy love this week for the Rox. I am in fact quite jealous of all my favorite bloggers who have the most entertaining posts this week. Let's discuss.

Beefy got to go to the SC State Fair. The land of my birth and I myself have never been. It looks like much fun. Jealousy set in, in the worst way.  And the fact that she's home with the hubs for 3 weeks is sickening. I can't even talk to her. I thought about texting and then I thought, I am at work. I can't. I shouldn't.  Oh wait, but she's home. Then I just gets jealous again. And my vote: for the past 3 weeks, her posts, most entertaining.

Ms. Lindsey over @ Mommy Teaches! has the sweetest little post about mamas and babies and how that all happens. Bible verses for reference, musical options, and all. Score for my soul this morning.

Confession's of a 20 Something: PLL gets yet again another prize. How bout' this from "Confessions of an almost 30 Something"....I want a prize too daggone it {insert inappropriate name calling}. This ain't about you PLL, it's about me and the funk I'm in. You are as always, ever-so-entertaining.

The best thing that has happened this week is Peanut Butter M&M's in fun size packages in the boss' office. Like I really need that. I'm bout' to go get one.

Ok I'm back. I actually got 2.

So This morning, I was awakened at 4:55 with the dumbest of all reasons from that who woke me up. I shall not name initials at this point. How many times do I need to explain that should you need to wake me up for such randomness...I think NOT. Let me repeat. NOT?  Not everyone can fall back asleep that easy. Grrrrrrrrrrr.....

Also, I feel it is quite inappropriate to call anyone before 9:00. How are you sure that they are not sleeping late on purpose?  Don't screw it up for them.

 Overall, not myself this week.
I'm later to work than normal. I'm tired. I'm jealous.

I haven't cleaned the recycling off my desk in 3 days.

I need a prize.

Austin Family vs. Krispy Kreme

I cannot tell you all how I am totally hating myself right now. I know by Tuesday all of the calories I consumed over the last week will have seeped into my veins and I won't be able to fit into all the new clothes I just bought. If you by chance are driving down my road or Lochridge development and you see the large girl on the side of the road oooozing white sugary glaze from her pores, that's me. I will probably also need some sort of resuscitation so please do pull over and help a girl out.

How do 6 adults polish off 7 dozen donuts in a mere 5 days? Vacation lasted for 7 but the donuts were all gone by day 5. One night we started out with 2 dozens. And that's B.W. (before Wayne). Then, one night the girls decide to surprise the girls with 2 dozen. Well the guys surprised us with 3 dozen. FACT: Never place this many Austin's that close to the "Hot Sign." Complete madness I tell you. If you are wondering where they all went, let me refer to night #2 which I like to title "Donut Surprise." And here ya go....

Geez Louise people. Have you ev'a in your life seen such a thing? My body is in pain.

Another one of my favorite nights was Austin/Summers dinner night. One of the best things about my fave vacay spot is gettin' to see my BFF. DOUBLE bonus!!!! And here we are.

OMG! Love her so much! True Story: We bought our babies the same shoes, tank top, and pair of pants on sale from Crazy 8 and didn't even tell each other. Not weird for us AT ALL. Lots of times we buy in 2's anyway for each other. Reagan and GA are the same size and so it makes it really easy. I like to think of it as God's little learning experience for what it would be like to have twins. Might as well take advantage of learning some God lessons while shopping.... Agreed?

What's even better than that is now she has a new little bambino which is perfect company for my nephew. They are just a few months apart and they are both such delicious babies. Here they are now chillin' at Aunt J's house.
L's shirt, "I still live with my parents" must be a hand-me-down from Uncle Sean? LOL

Anyways, so I just wanted to share some of my favorite moments from our trip. I might not have much time to blog this week because I will probably be focused on losing all my Krispy Kreme fluctuation weight. As of tomorrow, its back to 1350 calories per day + running.  I just hope we don't have any Austin events this week or those calories will probably get blown right out of the water.

Seriously, I love this kid like no other. He is such a sweetie. And how can you resist the Austin charm he puts on. I told my SIL this weekend. No worries when I'm around. I nearly document his every move on camera.
absolutely precious

How blessed am I?

Seriously, she is the 2nd best thing about being an Austin!!! Love my Sister In Law!

Can't you just picture him saying, "Duh Auntie, what did you think you were gonna see at the aquarium?"

Every time we go on vacay, I just fall more in love with my little girl as she explores new things. I swear no one loves their baby as much as I do.
On the way home from Myrtle, we took GA to see the Battleship in Wilmington. My nerves were tore up. She was climbing all over everything, and getting real close to the sides, looking over to see the water. Completely crazy I tell you. Not to mention my CrAzY kicks in when I'm in small places. Claustrophobia  ...CHECK!!!!

Some nice little man from the Admissions Dept. at my Alma Mater took this photo for us. A whole slew of MC girls cheered and clapped when they saw my Onyx. It was magical.

Let's all pause for a moment of silence in honor of the onyx BLING :)

Also so sexy from the side.
And moving on to GA's last adventure on the Battleship. Doesn't she look like a natural? Maybe she will be a captain, pilot, or an astronaut? Well, this weekend she told Ms. Angela she wanted to be a rock star at night and a nurse during the day. Whatever she wants to be...I don't care. I just feel so blessed that she has the Austin's (all of them) who love her and support her even though she doesn't bear their last name.

Needless to say, priceless family vacation..(thank to the inlaws ;)

Got to be SC!

First let me apologize for that ginormous picture of me in the heading...I will be getting that fixed ASAP.....It is so annoying how it will not line up in center...Grrr...Ok carry on...

There is something about the South Carolina air that speaks to my soul. The moisture, the salt, the pure fragrance of SC should be bottled for sale. Once I cross over that state line it is like I am a completely different person. I am at home. I am free, I am breathing in pure bliss.  No matter if I’m driving or sitting in the passenger seat I get jittery the closer I get to the line.  I even like stopping at the “SC Welcome Center” just to get the chance to get out on the sandy soil sooner than later (ridiculous I know but I can pull a pee-break better than anyone I know).

I had the pleasure of going to SC for a super long weekend (thank you hubby) to visit one of my besties and to scoop up some family time with some Newtons who joined us later in the weekend! Here are a few fun things that happened on our traveling adventure.
First, now y’all know I was born in SC and so true to the land of my birth I will remain. Naturally, any SC girl would get excited about crossing the state line. This I have done numerous times. And EVERY time I get excited…Oh yes y’all it’s South of the Boarder! Seriously….who doesn’t get excited about the miles and miles of countless entertaining billboards on the way? With all those fabulous colors, moving objects, and some even glow-in-the-dark…Serious roadside entertainment is what I’m talking about! Thank you Pedro for your enlightening descriptions of the oh-so -famous South of the Boarder and your articles and attractions for our traveling delight. The anticipation nearly glues me to the window every time!
Can you not smell the excitement already? Disclaimer...not a good location for suitable hotels ...restop...um no...

"You never Sausage A Place".....bahahahahah cracks me up every time....This is my fave. Along with her sister billboard going North stating "You're a Weiner with Pedro" ....

2 good things in one photo; actually 3: low gas prices, PALM TREES, and Subway :)

Moving on…..No summer vacay would not be complete without a little family time. On Friday we had one of those perfect days where the sun was just perfect, there was a restless breeze blowing, and the beach was hardly crowded. Sean and Georgia Anne were just precious the entire day. Sean and I could sit back, watch GA play in the sand, and take turns walking on the beach while she played. It was just delicious. As I was walking, I got to thinking…(imagine that) There is something very powerful about the ocean. It is uncontrollable, irrational, loud, and peaceful at the same time. It brings forth what is deep under the surface, rehearsing the fate of what it has found underneath, and repeats over and over again. It forcefully loses control, exposing the surface, then sweeps it up again (anybody want to draw a comparison to somebody…..hmmmmmmmmm).
So anywho…I connect with the ocean…no surprise there! Here are a few photos from our perfect family day...
Doesn't this look like a Southern Belle to you? Just precious....

future Baywatcher?

Next, there is nothing other than the grace of God that has led me to this woman…I mean, were we separated at birth? Were we both oh-so-faboulous that God separated our souls and made us 2 people instead of one? I think yes! I love this amazing girl so much. While living in Myrtle Beach several years ago, I stumbled across a friendship that was absolutely a work of God! Here I am living on the Rox, 5 hours away, and still I feel like she is close by.  One of the best things about my love Jenn, is that we can share clothes. I mean, let’s be honest…we have good taste…might as well share it! So, as I was lingering around her house over the weekend, I decided to have little fashion show via Jenn’s closet. Oh my….how I wish I had packed a bigger bag to bring home some of these babies….. Thank you for the new additions to Ber’s closet ;)
BESTIES!....Here's us with our babies at Reagan's graduation

Switcheroo...loving the shirt exchange...thank you ...Oh wait, she wouldn't let me have this one :(
oh the joy of this dress..but I can't have it either....
She so rocks it better than me anywho....

And finally, no summer getaway can be complete without a little drama! So I have never been on the beach when lifeguards were actually blowing whistles and getting people out of the water. FrEaKy…if I must say so myself. I’m talking major Jaws issues as a child….I still cannot watch that movie! (And why is that always on cable at the beach…I just don’t get it.) So, as crowds gather on the beach and lifeguards are sportin’ their Baywatch skills and all, what does Amber do? Duh, be nosy and find out what the who is going on….And here is when it happened….I got an almost, up close and personal, snapshot of the mysterious Stingrays. And here ya go…..
talk about S-C-A-R-Y

I was like right there as they were washing up on shore. Never did I get an actual good photo of them but they were swarming the beach all day. Back and forth….Oh, it was complete torture. Do you think I was letting my babies get in there?....I think not. NEVER have I ever experienced anything like this on the beach! So, come vacay in July, Landon and GA will not be surfing waves with Uncle Thomas. And that is how vacay will go from now on. Thank you…. And here are my precious babies that survived the drama.

No, finally is really this right here. I have been hearing all about “Skinny Girl” from my blogging friends and was like, whatev….It can’t be all that and I never go “out for drinks” anymore anyway…..Say what???? That does not mean a little sample is not in order on vacay….meet my new fave mature beverage. Jenn just happened to be on board with this little growing secret of 27 calorie delight. Ahhhhhhh thank you

BONUS: I also found “Cupcake” which is a new fave wine of mine ever since little Mrs. Tracie Rodriguez’ engagement party. Couldn't find it on the Rox anywhere....

And yes ladies and gentleman, it is available in SC …. Land of all things that bring on a happy me

Here is a few more of my fave pics from the weekend....
seriously cute

thick as thieves

what is the purpose?
